Kind words do not cost much. They never blister the tongue or lips. They make other people good-natured. They also produce their own image on men’s souls, and a beautiful image it is. — Blaise Pascal

But you, Lord, are a shield that protects me; you are my glory and the one who restores me. Ps.3:3NET

WOW...He is our glory, shield, and restorer. What more can we ask for in this world of confusion, fear, hopelessness, joblessness?   What's going on in the natural realm doesn't look good, but with God we can have hope, joy, and peace.  We are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus so we have no reason to be fearful and every reason to be at peace knowing He will take care of all the details for us.

He lifts up my head when I have been knocked down. When the enemy comes in and tries to destroy me with bad news of any kind He restores me.  He protects me, shields me, and is the glory and lifter of my head.   What else can we ask for?  God's glory in my life in addition to the rest...WOW.

Remembering that our warfare is not in the physical realm, but in the spiritual. (I Corinthians 10:4 & 5 ) We can claim restoration in every circumstance we find ourselves. We have to walk it out in the natural realm.  Health be restored. Finances be restored. Jobs come to us.  Favor is ours. We are the head and not the tail. We are blessed as we go out, and when we come in. (Deut 28:13)  "No weapon formed against you shall prosper and any tongue that rises up against you in judgment you shall condemn." (Isaiah 54:17)

We can be encouraged as we start out the New Year that all the details of our life are in His Hands.  We don't look at the "natural" things but at the spiritual.  We are spirit, soul, and body.  As we become closer to the Lord in our walk of righteousness, we need to remember to separate the three and listen to His voice in our daily walk. It isn't my righteousness.  It is the righteousness of Jesus Christ.  I am righteous through Christ.  That was God's plan of redemption.

Happy New Year everyone!  May 2011 be a very good year for everyone.  God Bless us everyone (as Tiny Tim said) If you need a job, may this year be the year.  If you need healing of any kind, may this be the time.  If you need a friend or a mate, may this be the year.  Whatever your need is may it be met in 2011.

God's Love, peace, and joy to all that read this blog.
